Evergreen,
Painting with Light Projection Photography with
Kodachrome Transparencies by John Neville Cohen
'Evergreen' is one of John Neville Cohen's Painting with
Light photographs. Created using projection photography
and Kodachrome transparency film, the garden scene is
projected onto a dead holy leaf, that was used as a screen and then
photographed, without digital manipulation or darkroom
effects.
This
photograph is an example of his unique technique, using
only light and film to create special effects, even on
colour reversal film! Developed by John Neville Cohen
using his 'Magic Lantern' projection methods that allow
everything to be seen in the viewfinder.
